The purpose of the Nurse Faculty Intern (NFI) study is to investigate the role development of nurse educators and expand the general knowledge about the mechanism to which nursing graduate students gain competencies related to teaching and learning through practical experience while working closely with seasoned mentors in their employing nursing education programs. The project is funded by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing and is in collaboration with the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
