National Society on American Indian Elderly (NSAIE)
The NRCNAA is currently working with the National Society on American Indian Elderly (NSAIE) to assist NSAIE's AmeriCorp VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) workers in Native communities to help with multiple projects. AmeriCorp VISTA workers are community volunteers who commit to a term of service in various high-need areas across the country. Among other jobs, VISTA workers assist with conducting needs assessments. The NSAIE survey instrument was created in partnership with the NRCNAA, and used much of the cycle II survey with additional social functioning and ethnicity questions for assessment. This survey is one of your options that can be used for Administration on Aging (AoA) grant reporting for Title VI Nutrition and Caregiving programs.
