Rural Collaborative Opportunities for Occupational Learning in Health (R-COOL-Health)
Scrubs Programs

Welcome to the Rural Collaborative Opportunities for Occupational Learning in Health (R-COOL-Health) Scrubs Program!
The Center for Rural Health offers two different Scrubs programs: the R-COOL-Health Scrubs Academy and the R-COOL-Health Scrubs Camps.
The R-COOL-Health Scrubs programs are opportunities for students to learn about careers in health care from health care professionals in fun, interactive ways. Modeled after programs from the South Dakota Healthcare Workforce Center and the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health, the Scrubs programs aim to increase awareness about multidisciplinary health careers and encourage students to pursue a career in health care.
The R-COOL-Health Scrubs Academy is a three day/three night camp held on The University of North Dakota Campus, and is open to any North Dakota student who has completed grade six, seven, or eight.

The R-COOL-Health Scrubs Camps are one-day camps in rural communities. A partnership of a local health care facility, economic or job development authority, and school work to create a one-day camp for students to learn about careers in health care from local health care professionals.
