The Upper Midwest Rural Health Research Center (UMRHRC) is a partnership that brings together two centers with extensive experience in rural health research and dissemination: the University of Minnesota Rural Health Research Center and the University of North Dakota Center for Rural Health. The two centers are combining their expertise to undertake national projects focusing on quality of rural health care and other important rural health issues. The results of these studies will be useful to health care providers, purchasers of health care, and policymakers, including the federal government.
The Upper Midwest Rural Health Research Center is one of eight rural health research centers in the nation funded by the Office of Rural Health Policy.
