Evaluation of Northwest Women's Chemical Health Initiative
The Glenmore Recovery Center, located in Crookston Minnesota is the location for the Chemical Health Initiative project. This project delivers treatment support and recovery services for substance abusing women who are pregnant or have dependent children. This approach provides comprehensive services for meeting basic needs including access to the following:
Food, clothing, shelter
Transportation
Job counseling and training
Legal assistance
Literacy training and educational opportunities
Parent training
Family therapy
Medical care
Child care
Social support
Mental health care
Family planning services
The Center for Rural Health is contracted to evaluation the process and outcomes of the program.
