Annabell Hill, BCH

Annabell Hill is the project coordinator for the Health Workforce Information Center (HWIC) at the Center for Rural Health at the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks. She will coordinate and assist with activities in the areas of financial management, outreach and marketing, web analytics, and project assessment, as well as the selection and creation of Web site content.

Prior to joining the Center for Rural Health, Hill worked at the Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacaton, Ariz., as the lead educator for the Diabetes Prevention Program, which serves the Pima Indian Population of the Gila River Indian Reservation.

Originally from Las Cruces, N.M., Hill is bilingual in Spanish and English. She received her Bachelor of Community Health degree from New Mexico State University and completed an internship with Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, where she educated patients about diabetes in Spanish and English. She also presented a Diabetes 101 class for nursing students, and a child birthing class.
