Jennifer Wages, LCSW
Jennifer Wages is the project coordinator for the evolving evaluation unit at the Center for Rural Health at the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, ND.
Wages currently assists in the coordination of the program evaluation for the Empowerment Evaluation Project, FLEX CAH HIT Network Implementation Grant, Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant Program (Flex), and North Dakota Idea Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) Project.
Wages’ past experience includes working in various settings primarily with children and adolescents. Her undergraduate field practicum was in a residential treatment center as a case manager for adolescents who are emotionally disturbed. After her field practicum, she continued at the residential treatment center as a direct care worker. Wages’ graduate field practicum was as a School Social Worker for the Grand Forks Public Schools where she worked with at risk families and children. Throughout her graduate career, Wages also worked for the University of North Dakota Crisis Team.
Wages obtained her Master of Social Work from the UND in December of 2006 as well as her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2004. She plans to become a licensed certified social worker in the state of North Dakota in spring of 2007.

Projects
- Empowerment Evaluation Project -- To assist with capacity building of evaluation efforts of primary prevention of intimate partner and sexual violence at the local and state level.
- Evaluation of IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence EVALUATION CORE -- Measures the outcomes of students participating in this biomedical science program designed to increase the numbers of biomedical scientists.
- SEARCH -- The SEARCH (Student/Resident Experiences And Rotations in Community Health) program provides health professions students and residents with opportunities to work on interdisciplinary health care teams.
