Kim Ruliffson, BA
Kim Ruliffson serves as the Project Coordinator for the National Resource Center on Native American Aging (NRCNAA) at the Center for Rural Health at the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks.
Ms. Ruliffson started as an Administrative Assistant for the NRCNAA in January 2004 and has been promoted to Project Assistant and then Project Coordinator in September 2007. The primary purpose of this project coordinator position is to serve the National Resource Center on Native American Aging (NRCNAA) on a state, regional and national level as a administrative and resource person for American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian aging issues. In this position, she provides assistance in the areas of financial management, project development, grant management, and student and support staff supervision.
Prior to joining the Center for Rural Health, she served as Project Coordinator of the HOPE Youth Mentoring program, similar to Big Brothers and Big Sisters, where she provided oversight to match disadvantaged youths with adult mentors in Livingston County, NY.
Ruliffson was raised in a rural community in western New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ithaca College, NY and is working on her Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Dakota with the anticipated graduation period of August 2008.
