Kyle Muus, PhD
Dr. Kyle Muus is senior research associate and assistant professor at the Center for Rural Health in the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks.
During his tenure at the Center for Rural Health, Dr. Muus has developed expertise in a variety of areas including Native American health, the health uninsured, rural health workforce supply and demand, emergency medical services, traumatic brain injuries, cancer surveillance, survey research methods and statistical computer applications.
He received his education at UND, earning a Master of Arts degree in sociology and a doctorate degree in research methodologies.

Through the North Dakota Department of Health’s
federally-funded TBI Planning grant, Center for Rural Health researchers and project staff conducted an assessment of needs and resources for persons with TBI and their families in the state. The findings of the assessment are discussed in this report.
