Muhammad Baqui, MS

Muhammad Baqui is a web developer with the Center for Rural Health. In this position, Baqui develops and maintains databases, assists with web design and maintenance, and provides technical assistance to staff at the CRH. Baqui works with the Health Workforce Information Center’s (HWIC) web site, the CATS project, and provides technical support for center-wide database systems.

Prior to joining the CRH, Baqui worked as a helpdesk consultant for Information Technology Services at North Dakota State University (NDSU). He brings a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology to the CRH and is pursuing a master’s degree in software engineering from NDSU. Baqui is originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, and enjoys traveling and playing soccer in his free time.

Established in 1980, the Center for Rural Health is one of the nation's most experienced rural health organizations. It has developed a full complement of programs to assist researchers, educators, policymakers, health care providers and, most importantly, rural residents to address changing rural environments by identifying and researching rural health issues, analyzing health policy, strengthening local capabilities, developing community-based alternatives, and advocating for rural concerns.
