National Health Service Corps (NHSC)

State Community Matching Physician Loan Repayment Program

FP, IM, OB/GYN, PEDs, GS, EM; (physicians who attended med school at UND SMHS or completed at ND residency program may be given preference. Preference also given to physicians practicing in rural or underserved areas).	Located in rural or urban underserved area Preference may be given based on percentage of Medicaid/Medicare patients seen	Up to $90,000 for two year commitment	Facility match required	Applications accepted year round. State Health Council will meet quarterly to review applications and make awards

The Medical Personal Loan Repayment Program

The Dentist Loan Repayment Program

DDS; Licensed Dentists who move to ND and have outstanding education loans may apply; Dentist who will graduate within one year after the date of application may also apply. DDS license not needed at time of application.	Located in rural or urban underserved area Preference may be given based on percentage of Medicaid/Medicare patients seen	Up to $80,000 for a four year commitment	Not required	Applications accepted year round.
