Gray Speaks at Elder Abuse Conference

Jacque Gray was among the presenters at the Eighth Annual Taking a Stand Against Elder Abuse Conference in Fort Hall, Idaho. Held May 16-17, the conference was sponsored by the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.
Gray talked about the many forms elder abuse can take and shared resources available to help stop the abuse. She also discussed abuse prevention.
Gray is a research professor for the Department of Population Health and the associate director for the Center for Rural Health for indigenous programs at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences. She also serves as the program director for the National Indigenous Elder Justice Initiative.
