Preconference - Brain Injury Basics

This training is based on an interactive approach that will provide direct care staff, peer support specialists, and caregivers of individuals with brain injury a general knowledge of brain injury and what it means for the individuals they serve. The training also offers practical techniques for handling difficult behaviors of individuals with brain injury as well as building rapport with the individuals in their care.

Who Should Attend the Conference?

Due to the array of providers needed to successfully support individuals after a brain injury, a diverse, multidisciplinary audience including various professionals and individuals with brain injury, and their family members are invited to attend.
