Associates of North Dakota, a partner of the Center
for Rural Health, has published a new article examining
colorectal cancer screening, changes in how Medicare pays
for various screenings and the screenings that are
covered, and the reduction of the minimum age for
screening from 50 years of age to 45 years of age.
What's Covered? Demystifying Cost-Sharing for Colorectal Cancer Screening explains the new Medicare's Calendar Year 2023 Physician Fee Schedule final rule. Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Health Clinics across North Dakota will benefit from understanding the changes that recently went into effect for Medicare patients on January 1 and will impact private insurance policy holders when the policies renew.
