Simulation In Motion Midwest Conference Aims to Educate Rural Providers

Simulation in Motion – Midwest (SIM-Midwest) is a consortium of the Simulation in Motion programs from North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Montana, and Iowa with the goal to provide evidence-based education via simulation directly to rural healthcare providers and communities. The SIM-Midwest conference will take place June 9-10 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with the theme "Stronger Together – Improving Healthcare Outcomes with Simulation."
Conference Attendees
Simulation enthusiasts, educators, and practitioners in clinical and academic professions are welcome to attend SIM-Midwest. Registration is $200 per attendee and continuing education credits will be available for participants.
SIM-ND
Simulation In Motion – North Dakota (SIM-ND) will be one of the teams participating in SIM-Midwest conference. SIM-ND is a state-wide mobile education system that uses high-fidelity manikins, which mimic lifelike experiences, to train pre-hospital and hospital personnel. The SIM-ND program is located within the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences Simulation Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
