Primary Care Week Community Meet and Greet

As a part of Primary Care Week, held October 23-27, the University of North Dakota (UND) Center for Rural Health, in partnership with student leaders from the American Medical Student Association is hosting the annual Community Meet and Greet, an event to connect health profession students with North Dakota healthcare facilities.
The meet and greet is slated to take place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Central on October 26 and will be held at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Lunch will be provided to students and vendors.
Students from the following programs will be in attendance:
- Physical therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Master of Public Health
- Medicine (MD)
About Primary Care Week
National Primary Care Week is an annual event held to highlight the importance of primary care and bring healthcare professionals together to discuss and learn about generalist and interdisciplinary healthcare, particularly its impact on and importance to underserved populations.
Registration for the meet and greet and more details on Primary Care Week celebrations will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
