Faculty Fellowships

The Seven Generations Center of Excellence provides faculty fellowships to Native faculty members in behavioral health. Fellowships can provide opportunities for faculty to start research, better prepare to be a faculty member, and grow as an academic.

Faculty Fellowships include:

  • Designation of up to 50% FTE for one to two years to allow time to research and publish.
  • Mentoring from a faculty member outside your department including grant writing training and assistance with classes and teaching.
  • Licensure support including payment assistance for licensure exams and/or preparation materials.
  • Up to $10,000 in seed grant support to facilitate the start and growth of research projects including up to $5,000 per year for travel and training.
