Flex Annual Meeting
Register now for the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program Annual Meeting for all Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) and Rural Health Clinics on April 25-26, in Minot.

Rural Emergency Hospital Opportunity
The new Rural Emergency Hospital (REH) provider designation is now an option for CAHs to consider converting to, as of January 1. The Flex Program and the North Dakota Hospital Association have partnered to provide statewide education related to the REH designation through August 31.

2023 North Dakota CAH Subcontract Program
A request for proposals is now open for the North Dakota CAH Subcontract Program. Deadlines are on a rolling basis.

In this special two-part series of Rural Health Information Hub's (RHIhub) Exploring Rural Health podcast, Alana Knudson and Luciana Rocha of the NORC Walsh Center for Rural Health Analysis provide an overview of rural health equity, while representatives from the West Marion Community Forum and Two Georgias Initiative share their experiences with creating and implementing health equity initiatives in rural communities.

A Rural Therapist and School Program Address Teen Mental Health
This recent Rural Monitor article from RHIhub discusses the need for mental health services for rural teens.
