RHIhub Issue Guide Provides Timely Info on COVID-19 in Rural Areas
The Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub) has an issue guide that includes key federal sites and updates on regulations and resources available in rural areas during COVID-19. The guide is updated daily with the latest resources, events, news and opportunities related to COVID-19.

COVID-19 Mental Health Resources
As part of the Mountain Plains MHTTC, Shawnda Schroeder of the CRH helped compile toolkits, guides, tip sheets, and infographics that have been developed to help parents and caregivers during the pandemic.

NDBIN Continues Work Through COVID-19 Crisis
North Dakota Brain Injury Network (NDBIN) staff remain available to their stakeholders and continue to offer support groups and the Webinar Wednesdays series.

Hand Sanitizer Available for Senior Care Facilities and Hospitals
The Rural Health Alliance is working with regional distillers that are making hand sanitizer to get it to area senior care facilities and hospitals that need it.

Information on North Dakota Lifeline Program
With increased use of telehealth and healthcare visits by phone, patients may need help with their cellular service. Lifeline is a federal program to help make communications services more affordable for low-income consumers. It provides subscribers a discount on monthly telephone service, broadband Internet access service, or voice-broadband bundled service purchased from participating providers.

NRHA COVID-19 Resources
The National Rural Health Association (NRHA) has compiled information and resources specific to health professionals, safety net facilities, and rural health.

NARHC COVID-19 Resources for Rural Health Clinics
The National Association of Rural Health Clinics (NARHC) has compiled numerous articles and documents with information to keep Rural Health Clinics up to date on the changes due to COVID-19 at the national level. Many are present on their homepage.

Palliative Care Meeting – Postponed
This meeting will now be conducted via Zoom on July 22, 2020. This session is a collaboration between the North Dakota Rural Community Based Palliative Care Project and the North Dakota CAH Quality Network.

Scrubs Academy I and II – Canceled
The R-COOL-Health Scrubs Academy I and II, slated for June 15-18 and July 7-10, 2020 respectively, have been canceled. Dates for 2021 have been posted.
