Jeffrey Koss, MA - Bio Sketch

Jeff Koss is a data visualization specialist with the Center for Rural Health (CRH) at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks.

Jeff works with the Rural Health Information Hub, where he conceptualizes, designs, and develops maps, graphics, and interactive features to communicate and tell stories about rural issues and disparities. Before joining CRH, Jeff worked as a geographic information specialist in the Center for Health Statistics at the Texas Department of State Health Services. He also previously served in the Texas State Medical Operations Center emergency response to COVID-19.

Originally from Longview, Washington, Jeff earned his bachelor's degree in geography and public health from the University of Washington and a master's degree in geography from the University of Iowa.
