Julie Arnold

Julie Arnold serves as the web designer and desktop publisher for the Center for Rural Health and the Rural Assistance Center. She has designed and maintains web sites for the Center for Rural Health, Rural Assistance Center, Delta Resource Project, USA-Mexico Border Health, and the Upper Midwest Rural Health Research Center.

Ms. Arnold has been employed by the UND Center for Rural Health since 2000. She has 15 years of web, graphic design, and desktop publishing experience and has received specialized training in usability, accessibility, and backend database integration. Ms. Arnold assesses new standards technologies and trends, and formulates strategies and plans for future enhancement of the web site. In addition, she is responsible for the design, layout, pre-press, and press of all printed materials. Ms. Arnold maintains an excellent working knowledge of all graphic programs related to web design and desktop publishing.

Established in 1980, the Center for Rural Health is one of the nation's most experienced rural health organizations. It has developed a full complement of programs to assist researchers, educators, policymakers, health care providers and, most importantly, rural residents to address changing rural environments by identifying and researching rural health issues, analyzing health policy, strengthening local capabilities, developing community-based alternatives, and advocating for rural concerns.
