Funding Opportunity: Rural Healthcare Services Outreach Program

Dec 11, 2024

The Health Resources and Services Administration has just released a new grant opportunity totaling $13 million to support rural communities. The Rural Healthcare Services Outreach Program is a community-based grant program that will help promote rural healthcare services outreach by improving and expanding the delivery of healthcare services in rural areas.

The program is geared toward finding solutions to challenges and underlying health disparities in communities through consortiums, which must include three or more healthcare providers. Many North Dakota groups have received similar funding in previous years, and this provides a great opportunity to look for innovative and collaborative solutions for communities.

How to Apply

Applications are now being accepted through Grants.gov. The closing date for applications is January 27, 2025.

The Center for Rural Health is available to provide feedback on prepared applications from North Dakota entities prior to submission in Grants.gov. Please reach out to State Office of Rural Health Grant Program Director Nicole Threadgold with your request no later than January 15, 2024 in order to allow time for review and feedback.
