Brendan Stermer, BA - Bio Sketch

Brendan Stermer is a web writer with the Center for Rural Health (CRH) at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks.

Brendan's main responsibilities include writing for the Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub), particularly writing for the Rural Monitor and featuring programs in RHIhub's Rural Health Models and Innovations section. Before joining CRH, Brendan worked at KDMA News in Montevideo, Minnesota and later for the Grand Forks Housing Authority on a Housing First/harm reduction project.

Brendan earned his bachelor of arts in philosophy from the University of Minnesota Morris. He has also hosted and produced his own podcast, Interesting People Reading Poetry, since 2017.
