“I grew up in rural North Dakota. At an early age, I wasn't fully aware of healthcare access needs in a rural community, but that later changed when I lived in Washington, D.C., and Minneapolis. I then understood the stark contrast in access, especially as I helped manage the care of my mother in first her rural community, then later in an urban setting. I am excited to work for an organization that helps address those needs.”
