Spring Healthcare Workforce Recruitment Events Scheduled Across North Dakota
Mar 12, 2025
The Center for Rural Health (CRH) will be hosting three healthcare workforce recruitment events in April located across the state. These events are designed to provide North Dakota hospitals and healthcare facilities with an opportunity to meet health profession students and medical residents from the University of North Dakota (UND).

"The spring recruitment events are a great chance for employers to connect with upcoming graduates from UND health profession programs," said Stacy Kusler, workforce specialist at CRH. "The Grand Forks event is multi-disciplinary, while the Minot and Bismarck events focus on medical students and residents."
"Recruiting and retaining is a challenge. Period," she continued. "Talking with students who are already here in the state, and who are familiar with the weather and culture makes conversations about employment here a bit easier."
Community Showcase
Community Showcase events will take place in Minot and Bismarck for 3rd and 4th year medical students and residents. The Bismarck showcase is slated for April 9 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Central at the CHI St. Alexius Boniface Auditorium, and the Minot showcase will be on April 10 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Central at Trinity Health's Prairie Rose Conference Room.
Community Meet and Greet
A Community Meet and Greet is scheduled in Grand Forks on April 15 and will feature medical students from a variety of disciplines. It will be held at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences East and West Atriums from 4:00 – 6:00 pm Central.
