Primary Care Week Community Meet and Greet

As part of Primary Care Week, held October 19-23, the Center for Rural Health (CRH), in partnership with student leaders from the University of North Dakota (UND) chapter of the American Medical Student Association, is hosting the annual Community Meet and Greet, an event to connect over 170 health profession students with North Dakota and regional healthcare employers. CRH is housed within the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
The Community Meet and Greet is slated to take place from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Central on October 22 and will be held at the UND School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Lunch will be provided by CRH.

and Greet gives students a chance to see the wide range
of opportunities available across North Dakota," said
Stacy Kusler, workforce specialist at CRH, "and begin
building relationships with healthcare organizations
before they enter the workforce."
Students from the following programs will be in attendance:
- Biology
- Master of Public Health
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Medicine (MD)
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
- Physician Assistant (PA)
About Primary Care Week
National Primary Care Week is an annual event held to highlight the importance of primary care and bring healthcare professionals together to discuss and learn about generalist and interdisciplinary healthcare, particularly its impact on and importance to underserved populations.
