Primary Care Week: October 29 - November 3
National Primary Care Week is an annual event held to highlight the importance of primary care and bring healthcare professionals together to discuss and learn about generalist and interdisciplinary healthcare, particularly its impact on and importance to underserved populations.
Most events during the week will be held at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences (SMHS).

Monday, October 29
Rural Health: Thinking Globally, Acting Locally

Join Dr. David Schmitz, chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, as he discusses what’s happening in rural health around the globe, and what part North Dakota is playing on the national and international level.

Community Meet & Greet - Healthcare Career Fair

Health Screenings Fair

A chance for health career students to provide free screening services such as blood pressure checks and nutritional information for members of the community. Event organized and funded by AMSA.
