Jena Pierce, BA
Communications Manager

Jena Pierce is the communications manager at the Center for Rural Health (CRH) at the University of North Dakota (UND) School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks.

Among her responsibilities in this position, Jena provides leadership and management for communications and information dissemination, develops and directs media relations, and plans special events and projects. Prior to joining CRH, Jena was director of development at Special Olympics North Dakota; foundation relations and development coordinator for the Sunshine Memorial Foundation; director of alumni relations & development with the UND College of Education & Human Development; and public information coordinator and assistant editor of the Alumni Review with the UND Alumni Association and Foundation.

Originally from Grand Forks, North Dakota, Jena has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from UND. She is a board member for the North Dakota Professional Communicators.
