2026 Mind Matters Conference to Be Held March 26 and 27 in Fargo
Feb 11, 2026
The annual
Mind Matters Conference will be held on March 26-27 in
Fargo, North Dakota. This two-day conference highlights
new research, trends, practice strategies, and
collaborative models of care. Speakers will present
innovative approaches and new systems of care for
individuals living with a brain injury and their
caregivers. The conference brings together a
multidisciplinary audience of survivors, family members,
caregivers, and providers to discuss diverse topics and
support for individuals after obtaining a brain injury.
Mind Matters is held each year in March as part of Brain
Injury Awareness Month and is hosted by the North Dakota
Brain Injury Network (NDBIN).

2026 Conference
During the 2026 Mind Matters, participants will hear brain injury survivors' voices being amplified. Notable speakers include Carole Staff, Luke Bohnenberger, and Brody Lavelle, who will share their experiences with brain injury and recovery.
"Attending Mind Matters not only gives the participant an inside look at the brain injury community in North Dakota," said Carly Endres, senior project coordinator with NDBIN, "it also gives the most recent and up-to-date information on best practices following an injury. Our brains control all that we do, so topics at the conference will cover a wide range: from lessons learned to neuroplasticity to sensory processing and more."
How to Attend
The conference will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo. More information for potential attendees, including costs and registrations, is now available.
