Scrubs Camp Grant Recipients Announced

The Rural Collaborative Opportunities for Occupational Learning in Health (R-COOL-Health) Scrubs Camp grant recipients for the 2024-2025 cycle have been awarded. Scrubs Camps are one-day camps held in rural communities that are organized through a partnership among a local healthcare facility, an economic or job development authority, and a school. Scrubs Camps target students in grades 5-12 to introduce them to careers in healthcare in fun, interactive ways.

- Coal Country Community Health Center, Beulah
- Towner County Medical Center, Cando
- Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier
- Northeast Education Services Cooperative, Devils Lake
- Unity Medical Center, Grafton
- SMP Health – St. Aloisius, Harvey
- Nelson County Health System, McVille
- Northwood Deaconess Health Center, Northwood
- First Care Health Center, Park River
- Northland Health Centers, Turtle Lake
- Bakken Area Skills Center, Williston
The Scrubs Camps will be held between September 3, 2024 and April 30, 2025. The 11 camps that will be hosted in the upcoming months will reach 125 communities and approximately 1,200 students around North Dakota.
