The Rural Community Toolbox: Funding & Resources for Rural Communities to Address Substance Misuse website, or the Rural Community Toolbox, features federal resources, programs, and funding to help support rural communities address substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder, and a wide range of issues related to substance use impacting individuals, families, and communities. The website provides access to an Overdose Mapping Tool developed by the NORC Walsh Center for Rural Health Analysis, Starting Point Guides, and resources organized by:

The Rural Community Toolbox website is operated by the University of North Dakota Center for Rural Health. Funding for the project comes from a partnership between the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
