Adamsen Chosen as Remarkable Women Nominee

Dr. Collette Adamsen,
research assistant professor and associate director at
the Center for Rural Health, has been nominated as a
Remarkable Woman by Nexstar Media Group,
Inc.
Nexstar Media Group, Inc. celebrates Women's History Month by highlighting Remarkable Women who have made a difference on public policy, social progress, and the quality of life in their communities. A total of 125 finalists are chosen out numerous nationwide nominations.
Dr. Adamsen was interviewed through News Nation and shared how her passion for helping Native Elders began at an early age, and how her family inspired her life's work.
At the Center for Rural Health, housed within the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Dr. Adamsen is the director of the National Resource Center on Native American Aging (NRCNAA), the Resource Center on Native Aging and Disability, and the Native Urban Elder Needs Assessment Survey, all national programs.
