Body Mass Index and Cancer Screening in Older American Indian and Alaska Native Men
The study looked at the prevalence of fecal occult blood testing (FOBT) and prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing among American Indian and Alaska Native men within the past year by age and rurality and determined if body mass index (BMI) was associated with cancers screening.

A College Suicide Prevention Model for American Indian Students
This article outlines the model developed for the American Indian Support Team from funding through the Garrett Lee Smith Campus Suicide Prevention Grant funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to focus on reducing suicide risk of American Indian students at the University of North Dakota.

Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program's Impact on North Dakota
Since the program began (2002) each of North Dakota's 33 eligible small rural hospitals has received an average of $9,000 each year. To date, the total impact to North Dakota is $1.6 million.
