Poster Presentation Submission Items
These are the items needed to complete and submit a poster presentation.
Poster presentations at the Dakota Conference on Rural and Public Health are 10 minutes long. You will be required to provide your poster as a PowerPoint that will be shown during your presentation in a session room. The hard copy of your poster will be on display in the main conference hallway for the duration of the conference. There are no size limitations for your poster display.

- Biography (2-3 sentences in length) Write this EXACTLY as you would like it read when you are introduced for your presentation.

If you have more than three presenters total, email any additional presenter contact information to brittany.dryburgh@UND.edu once you submit your proposal. All presenters will receive a letter of agreement with requested information needed for continuing education approval. This must be submitted, or they will not be able to present or you run the risk of the presentation not being able to be held because all presentations must be approved for continuing education. The lead presenter is responsible for ensuring that all presenters submit letter of agreement. All letters of agreement are sent via DocuSign.
Poster Information
- Title of poster
- List two objectives of your presentation. Be sure to use measurable objectives. The phrasing "understand" is NOT measurable. View a list of measurable examples to use in writing objectives. Objective example: Identify the processes involved in evaluating the effects of quality improvement programs.
- Provide two pre/post test questions and answers that participants will answer prior to your session and following your session to assess if their knowledge of the subject has changed. Be sure this is information that you will cover in your session. Questions MUST BE multiple choice or true/false.
- Abstract of Presentation (maximum of 2,000 characters) Reviewers will use this information when selecting presentations for the conference.
- Description for conference program (maximum of 400 characters)
- Answer the question: How do you plan to include/address diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in your poster?
- Include a link or attach a pdf of the sources which help identify a need for the session that you are purposing to present.

- Must agree to: I understand that no honorarium or travel expense reimbursement will be provided for any presenter submitting through the "Call for Presentations" process. Oral and poster presenters receive a discounted registration fee.
- Must agree to: I understand that as a presenter submitting through the "Call for Presentations" process all presenters are required to register as a conference attendee.
- Must agree to: I agree to complete the presenter agreement and Continuing Education forms and submit my presentation slide (copy of my poster) by the deadlines indicated in the presenter agreement. ALL SLIDES MUST BE REVIEWED BY THE OFFICE OF CME PRIOR TO CONFERENCE.
