Continuing Education Hours

The following professions have approved continuing education credit for the 2024 Dakota Conference on Rural and Public Health.

American College of Healthcare Executives – By attending the Dakota Conference on Rural and Public Health offered by the Center for Rural Health participants may earn up to 12.0 ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives designation.

Certified Health Education Specialists – The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. has approved this program for a total of 12 entry-level continuing education contact hours for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) and/or Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES®).

Dietetics – Continuing Professional Education Units (CPEUs) may be earned for this conference by self-reporting this activity through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. The Commission on Dietitian Registration is the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for Registered Dietitians (RDs) and Dietitian Technicians Registered (DTRs). This is a new process for Dietetics CPEUs in 2025.

EMS – This program has been submitted for Local Requirement (LCCR) hours and Individual Requirements (ICCR) hours.

Nursing Home Administration – This program has been approved by the North Dakota Hospital Association for up to 12.0 continuing education hours for the Long Term Care Administrators/National Continuing Education Review Service (NAB/NCERS).

Pharmacy – Continuing Pharmacy Education credits may be earned for this conference by contacting the North Dakota State University College of Pharmacy. The College of Pharmacy, North Dakota State University, is approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of Continuing Education.

Public Health – Certified in Public Health recertification credits may be earned for this conference by self-submitting to the National Board of Public Health Examiners.

Social Work – The North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners has approved this conference to provide social work continuing education. This conference will provide up to 12.0 general contact hours per attendee.
