The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of the
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is the primary federal agency for improving healthcare to people
who are geographically isolated, economically or medically vulnerable.
One of HRSA's programs is the National Health Service Corps (NHSC),
which offers loan repayment and scholarships to primary care providers and students for serving at NHSC sites in
communities with limited access to healthcare.
