Support CAH Quality Improvement Activities
- Maintain listserv - All CAHs subscribe
- Virtual Library - Facilitate the exchange of resources
- Individualized assistance to CAHs and delivery of core set of technical assistance
- Coordinate educational opportunities - apply for continuing education units (CEUs) when possible
- Coordinate/attend regional meetings
- Support Healthcare SafetyZone® Portal - Increase reporting and develop evidence-based practices for sharing
Support North Dakota CAHs with Medicare Conditions of Participation compliance
- Implementation of CAH-to-CAH sharing of survey results
- Issue top 10 CAH deficiencies checklist annually
- Weekly monitoring of CMS regulations and immediate dissemination of information
- Work collaboratively with the North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS)
Manage the North Dakota CAH Quality Network
- Coordinators serves as liaison with partners and stakeholders - North Dakota HHS, QIO, NDHA, and others
- Coordinate executive and stakeholder committee meetings
- Implement strategic plan and communication plan
- Maintain webpage and communication material
