Deadline Approaching: Dakota Conference on Rural Health Award Nominations

Each year, champions of rural healthcare are honored with awards at the Dakota Conference on Rural Health. We are asking for nominations for the following nine awards:

• Outstanding Rural Health Provider Award
• Outstanding Rural Health Professional Award
• Outstanding Rural Health Volunteer Award
• Outstanding Rural Educator/Mentor Award
• Emerging Rural Leader Award
• Rural Health Legislator of the Year Award
• Outstanding Rural Health Program Award
• Outstanding Rural Health Career Award
• Excellence in Community Engagement and Access

• Submit your Outstanding Rural Health Award nominations

We encourage you to "toot your own horn" and nominate those you work with. If you have nominated an individual or a program in a prior year, and that individual or program did not receive an award, please consider doing so again. Each year, many worthy nominations are received, but only one award per category can be distributed. The nomination committee strongly encourages resubmissions.

Presentation of Awards

The Outstanding Rural Health Awards will be presented at the Dakota Conference on Rural Health on June 3, 2026, at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota, from 12:00 – 1:30 pm Central.
